ARE you feeling WORTHY of abundance????

Abundance LOVES you and you should KNOW THAT!!!

Someone recently asked me a question about bringing money into the home—and felt they weren’t pulling their weight because they were staying home with kids….wanted to know what to do to increase their income and make it feel more equitably balanced between their spouse…since i have lived this situation for 15 years since "retiring" to pursue a more joyful life guiding my children, i gave the following answer....

***well....being a stay at home mom who retired from a top advertising position to raise my kids and tend a house, which created a drop in salary by 2/3 after we had just released our income producing apartment which drew thousands of extra dollars a year to cover our mortgage and insurance..i can honestly say, i have been in your shoes...but only for a short while...

because i did an exercise that cured me of what you are feeling...

I went to the library (no internet back then!) and did a job search and income history on a number of jobs that i was currently doing...then i started keeping a time sheet for 1 month...

so, we would have needed, a cook, a personal shopper, a nanny, a housekeeper, a landscape architect, a dog sitter, a cat sitter, a bird setter, a window washer, a car washer, a chauffeur, a therapist, a party planner, a travel agent, a laundress, a messenger, a book keeper and a prostitute to do all the things that i do for my husband in order for him to run the household at the level of comfort he and the children had come to expect....(and this doesnt include my volunteer work running two girl scout troops and teaching religious education)....

so, even at the low end of the salaries for these positions, and the low end of the hours, for which i worked way more--with no vacation days, no sick days, no holidays etc...I would have billed my husband TWICE--yes, you heard me TWICE his gross income every year...

puts it into perspective for me really quick==i am invaluable--I worked for years, i paid for my husbands student loans (i had none) i paid for my own engagement ring--i paid for my own wedding ring--i got our first apartment and carried him for a year wihtout income because he was still in school all because i loved him and had faith in his potential for expansion...

and wihtout ME at home, giving him the freedom NOT to be carrying half the burden of childcare and house work that we used to share when we were both working--he has the potential at work to expand FAR beyond what he would have achieved had he NOT had the LUXURY of a stay at home partner...

I know my value--

He owes me...not the other way around--and i know that through My desires for things, the universe expands our abundance which at the present moment a majority of which is coming through his paycheck.

You dont need to figure out work--what you need to do is clear up the vibration surrounding your worth--if you dont, abundance will indeed elude you...do the experiment and see what you can come up with--be fair, be accurate and you will be amazed at the numbers~!

i also keep a jar for money found in the universe and then put that in the coinstar and put that in the bank--and its becoming a LOT of abundance--all from tiny little signs from the universe that i am abundant! i even set up accounts for my kids so they will know they are magnificent abundant creators...

my daughter wanted more money of her own--so i said, focus on your existing abundance and play with your money and thank it--and something will come to bring you more money...

so, a few days later, my accupunturist out of the blue asked if she would like to babysit--and sam set a low rate because she was a friend of mine--and my accupunturist said to me--i hope sam will set a rate that is worthy of her--so i shared that with sam, and she changed her rate back to being in alignment with what she really felt she was worth...

and after she set--my accupunturist actually paid her her rate plus a tip for being so wonderful!

so--she didnt even have to FIND something to BRING her more money (action) she aligned with MORE--and the universe presented a way--and she LOVES kids--so this is really just FUN for her...

find what you LOVE to do, and do it and the abundance will FLOW!!! as long as you VALUE your own worth....then all will WICKED ROCK! :)
